Did you check this FIXYA LINK below? Appears to have lot's of answers! Also I WATCHED the YOUTUBE video I recommended and NOTICED his DRIVE BELT is WAY too loose! Methinks THAT is why his dryer has problems!
Be SURE your belt is not to aged because they can STRETCH and then TRIP the 'RESET SWITCH' he's talking about. Note the way his PULLEY shakes so violently.

It sounds like the kill/emergency shut switch is in the 'off' position. If you notice a switch ( white in color ) next to the belt pulley has a black push button on it, that is the interrupt switch that shuts it down should the belt break.
Push in the black button from the left ( from the back ) until you hear it 'click' and you should be good to go. Let me know how you make out. Thanks for choosing FixYa. I hope you will take a second to rate my solution/assistance positively. Macmarkus:) Answered on Aug 28, 2010.

Replacing boards and sensors will not fix this problem as it has nothing to do with the electronics or electrical side. Here is what you can do yourself: check the venting on the dryer. The vent hose runs from the back or side to the wall of your house. It may be clogged or kinked if everything is fine, i would contact Bosch directly and see if they have a recall or any service reports on this problem and if there are any solutions. Let me know if i can be of more assistance. Thanks.
Answered on Feb 04, 2009. Hi there, i can understand your frustration. I have reviewed the information that i have from Bosch and they indicate that the lint filter indicator light should only come on as a reminder but should not shut off the dryer. Here is my recommendation and also a question: the dryer is shutting off due to the fact that it's overheating. It's a safety precaution from the manufacturer and it's built in to prevent the lint collected in the lint filter, since it's highly flammable. Check the venting in the back or side, wherever it was installed. The vent tube is often the cause for the dyer to stop functioning.
If that turns out to be okay, the dyer is equiped with a sensor on the heater. It is possible that it's opening due to the heat generated by the dryer that has nowhere to go. Does the display show any error messages? Can you tell me what they are? Thanks again Answered on Sep 25, 2008.
